Men, might not have as many choices as women, but two big options they do have is cut and style. Our focus are on 4 of the primary most popular styles; along with the infusion of color and design for summer season.
1. The Swim Trunk – the most traditional type of Men’s Swimwear; worn by guys of all ages form kids to seniors. This is usually the first swimwear style that I guy invest in. They are usually loose and normally fall to mid-thigh.
2. The Swim Brief – This look in swimwear was introduced back in the 1956 Olympics; most commonly referred to as just the “Speedo”; even though this option is offer through many brands. This is for the guy that likes a body-hugging swimsuit style.
3. Board Shorts – Young men and teenagers LOVE this style of swimwear, especially since this can take them from the pool or beach to skateboarding, boating and just hanging out in the sunshine. Board shorts were created for surfing – (thus the name), but are being worn for all swimming activities. They usually fall to the knee on most guys.
4. Square Leg Swimsuit – It’s that swimsuit that is somewhere between a Speedo style brief and the swim trunk. This swimsuit is cut very similar to the boxer brief you see in underwear. This is for the guy that like the fitted look, but don’t want to walk around in the in the swim brief, especially since this swimsuit has the square leg fit.
