CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Try a girl’s night in by bringing a Wine Tasting to your home.

PRP Wine International offers in-home and in-office wine tastings. Call them up at least two weeks in advance to reserve a spot and a wine consultant will walk through your preferences.

That’s the difference between this experience and going to a wine tasting at a shop or on a vineyard: the wines coming to your home are selected just for you, not based on what the someone else thinks.

For your personalized wine tasting you will get six to eight wines and you can invite 10 to 15 guests. (Anything over 15 people turns into a party, which takes away from the educational experience of a wine tasting.)

At your tasting, the wine consultant will tell you how the wine can be used and food pairings. You should note however, that the host of the tasting should prepare their own food, as that is not a part of the service that PRP Wine offers.

Chris Gillespie, branch manager of PRP Wine International, in Charlotte says, “I always stress to the host or hostess easy and simple as possible, because you want to sit back and enjoy the wine tasting too. Cheese and crackers and maybe some fruit is honestly the best way to go.”

Contact PRP Wine at 704-394-6499. If you say that you saw PRP Wine on "Charlotte Today" you can get an in home or in office wine tasting for just $49, that's 80 percent off their normal price.
