Deep Fried Oysters

Serves

Ingredients

Oysters, drained and dried 2 cups
All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
Salt 1 teaspoon
Paprika 1 teaspoon
Eggs 2 each
Water 2 tablespoons
Corn Meal 1 cup

Method of Preparation

    Gather all ingredients and equipment
    In a deep pan or pot, heat oil to 370 degrees
    In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and paprika
    In another bowl, whisk the eggs and water together
    In a third bowl, put your corn meal
    Dip the oysters in the flour mixture, then dip them in the egg, finally in the corn meal
    Fry in the hot oil until nicely browned, about 2 minutes
    Serves with hot sauce
