Five Spice Mahi Mahi and Garlicky Greens

Five Spice Halibut
Serves 2

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
 
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
2 (6-oz.) halibut fillets, or us another firm-fleshed white fish
3/4 tablespoon ghee, or use coconut oil

In a small bowl, combine first 5 ingredients; evenly sprinkle mixture over fish. Melt the ghee (or coconut oil) in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add fillets and cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Steamed asparagus and a big salad tossed with Leanne’s Basic Vinaigrette.

Garlicky Mixed Greens
Serves 2-4

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon ghee
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium tub mixed greens
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:
In a medium skillet, heat the ghee over medium-high heat.  Add in the garlic and greens.  Season with the salt and pepper and cook until the greens are wilted.  Remove from heat and serve.
