CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Carolina culinary expert and Charlotte Today cooking regular Heidi Billotto shared tips for making cooking this holiday season quick, easy and fun. Try her trick to separate an egg with a plastic water bottle, or make your whip cream from scratch ahead of time.
Heidi tells Charlotte Today host Colleen Odegaard that the best way to get the yucky brown spots off the bottom of your pan is to place water in the pan with a dryer sheet, bring to a boil, and then the brown spots will come right off with the scrape of a spatula.
