If you've had a tough work week, maybe you need a good laugh. If so, go to the Charlotte Comedy Theater for a little interactive improv. See local talent all weekend. Tickets are $10 for each show.
The Charlotte Checkers take on the Mississippi Sea Wolves Sunday at Time Warner Cable Arena. The puck drops at 5 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $35.
And if you're looking for some relaxation, try the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens for Art at the Garden. Tickets are $5 and $10. You can see local artists' work and see a photo exhibit from local high school students.
