MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Two schools in Mooresville were under lockdown for much of Monday morning as police searched for a despondent individual at a nearby cemetery.

The lockdowns at Mooresville High School and South Elementary were both lifted by noon and were just a precaution, school officials say.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the person they were looking for.
