CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Wednesday students at some schools in the Charlotte area took part in what’s called Unity Against Bullying Day as part of Rachel’s Challenge.

The color for Unity Day was orange.  The Friends of Rachel club at Lake Norman Charter High School handed out orange ribbons to students and teachers as they arrived.

The mission of Rachel’s Challenge is to promote kindness and compassion and to encourage students to take a stand against bullying.
