WAXHAW, N.C. -- Students at Cuthbertson High School kicked off their anti-bullying week by hearing a message of kindness on Monday.

They're the latest to hear Rachel's Challenge, named for Rachel Scott, the first victim in the Columbine High School shooting.

Rachel wrote about simple acts of kindness and compassion, which could change the world--a message that immediately sank in with students.

"I truly loved the whole concept of Rachel's Challenge, doing random acts of kindness and giving back to the community,” said senior Joey Skavroneck. “I truly think that even though we're blessed in such a great community that we're in right now, that every community deserves to hear about Rachel's Challenge."
