CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Another school year has come and gone, but the message of Rachel’s Challenge has stuck with students at Charlotte Catholic.
"I don't think anyone realized just how impacting it could be,” said Stuart Dickinson, a student.
Rachel’s message was about kindness and compassion.
"There was a kid sitting by himself,” said Emma Winters, a student.
She went on to say, “We just invited him to sit with us because we didn't want him to be by himself."
And at the end of the day, and in this case, at the end of the school year, that’s what it’s all about.
"I think everyone just genuinely all around is just being more kind to each other,” said Jack Brodowicz, a student.
Riley Byrnes agreed, “it could be something from so small or something huge that could've changed somebody's life.”
