CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The message of kindness and compassion is spreading like wildfire, and Tuesday morning students at Charlotte Catholic High School learned about Rachel's Challenge.
It's named after Rachel Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School shootings.
Rachel wrote about simple acts of kindness that could change the world. Charlotte Catholic is taking the challenge, and students say hearing her story made them stop and think.
“It made me really think about judging people and you really need to think twice before you say something about someone else," said freshman Alyssa Norton.
