LINCOLN, N.C. -- A local middle school is hoping their message of kindness goes viral as they try to spread a chain reaction of kindness.

The Friends of Rachel (FOR) Club at North Lincoln Middle School came up with the idea of making a music video with a positive message.

The idea caught on and pretty soon the whole school was involved.  School Counselor Dan Donnellan says the project, “brought the school together and we received great feedback from the community.”

The FOR Club chose the song “It’s Always A Good Time” by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen as the first song. The second song, “Who Do U Think U Are” by Kaitlyn K has an anti-bullying message.

According to Donnellan she is an upcoming artist who is a strong supporter of anti-bullying.

The FOR Club is also putting on a video contest where students will put together their own message of kindness, compassion and anti-bullying.
