NewsChannel 36 anchors Bobby Sisk and Dion Lim visited Smithfield Elementary School Monday to kick off the Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive school competition.
Elementary and middle schools will compete to see which school can collect the most toys for children in need. The winning school gets a party from Salsarita's.
The Salvation Amy expects to help about 14,000 needy children this year.
The Magical Toy Drive school competition runs through Friday, Dec. 10.
