Online gamers accuse Charlotte-based site of foul play
03:26 PM EDT on Tuesday, June 10, 2008
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Better Business Bureau has issued an alert on a Charlotte-based gaming Web site.
The BBB says they've received more than 170 complaints from gamers on Netwinner.com.
Those gamers say they haven't received any of their prize money.
Netwinner.com issued a statement saying the company is not in a financial position to pay those rewards.
Instead, the Web site says it will change the terms of play to cut down on how much it has to pay out.
