CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One of country music's brightest stars is coming to the Queen City.
Carrie Underwood announced an American tour Tuesday morning that will include a November 3 stop at the Time Warner Cable Arena in uptown Charlotte.
The "Blown Away Tour" is to support her new album and will include a stop in Greensboro at the Greensboro Coliseum on November 4.
The 2005 'American Idol' winner will have a total of 57 stops on the tour that begins May 26 in Baton Rouge.
Hunter Hayes will open for Underwood, who is currently up for five CMT Music Awards.
Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on May 11 at 10 a.m.
