CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Extra, extra!
Production studios are looking for people with the acting bug in the Charlotte area. They’ll be a part of a Max, a family movie filming around the Queen City.
The film, based on a true story, stars Thomas Haden Church, Josh Wiggins, Luke Kleintank, Lauren Graham and more.
The movie focuses on Max, a military dog that just returned from Afghanistan after his handler’s death and is adopted by the handler’s family.
Producers are looking for people of all ages and ethnicities including:
Those of Middle Eastern, Persian, Afghani, and Indian decent – Older males in their 50s or 60s, and women and children needed to portray Afghani villagers. Please include VILLAGER in your submission heading.
Middle Eastern males in their 20s and 30s with weapon experience. Submission heading should include AFGHANI VILLAGERS
Marine/Military males and females -- Males should be clean shaven, have haircuts meeting Military standards, should be fit. Many in the 20s and 30s age range needed. Please include your branch of service and years served in submission. Submission heading should include MILITARY MALE.
Law enforcment/military types experienced with handling or training dogs. Possible K-9 Officers or males and females experienced dog handlers. All should be able to portray Military personal. Men must be clean shaven with short neat haircuts. Submission heading should be DOG HANDLERS.
All submissions must include a current snapshot (which can be taken with a cell phone) and the following information:
Name, age, phone, height and weight, clothing sizes, shoe size, city and state you reside, color/make/model/year vehicle you drive.
Submission headings should be your age, ethnicity, gender and city and state you reside. EXAMPLE: 45, African American Male, CLT/NC.
