LOS ANGELES (AP) -- It took only one episode of "Dancing With the Stars" for Andy Dick to have a meltdown.
He started weeping during rehearsals because it was taking him a long time to learn the dance. But he managed to get through the performance and got 17 points, which is not great, but it's better than the 12 D.L. Hughley scored in last place.
Brooke Burke-Charvet asked him afterward if he worried that the pressure of the show would make him relapse. Dick is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. He said "Oh, you went there" but answered that he wouldn't be able to dance if he started drinking again.
D.L. Hughley got the worst reviews. Bruno Tonioli said he "terminated the cha cha cha." And Len Goodman said it was "simply no good."
Goodman loved Kellie Pickler's dance. He told her "Yum, yum, pig's bum. That was fun."
Tuesday's show will take a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsals. The cast will dance one more time this Monday before someone's voted off on Tuesday.
