Larry's Look | Woman takes adventure across U.S.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tamela Rich is a Charlottean who's on the move -- literally!

She spends much of her spare time on a motorcycle, traveling locally and all over the United States and Canada. Tamela has chalked-up tens of thousands of miles in her travels.

She just added another 4,000 miles, including stop-overs in New England and New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in Canada. Tamela had a chance to see the spot in the United States, where you can see America's first sunrise.

There's a big debate about that, and it involves Acadia National Park and Wes Quoddy. It's an on-going debate about which location is actually the first!

This morning on Larry's Look, Tamela talked about her exciting trips and how easy it is to get out and enjoy the outdoors. She also talked about the two years she rode her motorcycle across the US and Canada for breast cancer causes. That inspired the book, "Live Full Throttle: Life Lessons From Friends Who Faced Cancer".
