'COLBERT REPORT' RETURNING TONIGHT

NEW YORK (AP) -- "The Colbert Report" is returning tonight. Stephen Colbert had to take a sudden break last week due to his ailing 91-year-old mother. On Twitter, Colbert thanked those who had offered "thoughts and prayers." Comedy Central slotted reruns for shows scheduled Wednesday and Thursday nights. At the time, the network said the cancellations were because of "unforeseen circumstances."
