Speed Street to rock uptown Charlotte May 25-27

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In what has become a Queen City tradition, Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola will rock the streets of uptown Charlotte.

NBC Charlotte is the official media partner of 2017’s festival, which will take place May 25-27 and will include concerts, access to some of the hottest stars in racing, as well as giveaways and interactive displays. Concerts include country stars Jake Owen and Billy Currington, as well as hip-hop and R&B performer DJ Jazzy Jeff.

“The four headliners plus 18 additional live performances should satisfy the fans in town for the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway as well as Charlotte’s appetite for affordable concerts along with a great event experience,” said Jacqueline Gafrarar, executive director of the 600 Festival Association.

With the exception of Lakeside’s performance Thursday, all Speed Street concerts will take place at the Coca-Cola Stage located inside Romare Bearden Park. The Mello Yello Stage will be located at the intersection of Tryon Street and Stonewall Street.

NBC Charlotte will be on site with an interactive display booth on Friday, May 26. Further details will be made available later. For more information about Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola, click here
