Producer Natalie Ridley has a fun list of things to do

LUNCH WITH THE EASTER BUNNY:

Coming up this Friday at the Matthews Community Center

Cost is 5 dollars

Ages 2 to 5 only

Lunch, craft and a picture with the bunny.

Still some seats available but you have to pre-register

 

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA

 Matthews at Stumptown Park

Saturday starting at noon

Different age groups from toddlers to age 12

It’s completely free!

Thousands of eggs stuffed with candy and prizes!

Pizza, ice cream, carnival games, crafts, bounce houses

 

EASTER BUNNY EXPRESS

NC Transportation Museum both this weekend and next weekend.

Tickets start at 8 dollars

25 minute train ride with the bunny and pictures

Lots to do including toy trains, places to play, run around, pictures,  and a gift shop.

PRO TIP: Go on the early train ride there will be less people. 

 

LAZY 5 RANCH EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA

Both this Saturday and next Saturday

Cost is 8 dollars

Helicopter drops the eggs on to the field

Different field for kids under 4. 

Live bunnies, scavenger hunt, and petting zoo.

PRO TIP: Expect traffic later in the day. Go early – at least an hour.  Hand out coloring books to kids in cars to keep them busy but it gets packed

 

SPRING FLING AT HODGES FARM
Next Friday and Saturday

Cost is 5 dollars per child

Pet the animals, sack races, bubble station

Must register for this event online, they let you pick three different times in your preferred order and then they let you know when to come.

PRO TIP: Its 5 bucks to park – they say admission is free but egg hunt is 5 bucks and parking is 5 bucks. Arrive about 30 minutes ahead of time.
