Pecan Pie

We all need one pie that we can whip up quickly

without any stress around the holidays or for a dinner

party dessert. My mother-in-law Bobbie, or I should say

“Grandmommy”, makes the most amazing, delicious

pies. She is a true baker and an amazing cook that I

am so thankful to have in my life! She inspired me to

create my own pecan pie that would be simple and

stress-free to make with my kids. I can count on this

recipe for flavor and for it to be a hit at any occasion.

Every time I make this pie, the pan comes home empty!

Health Tip

Pecans are anti-inflammatory.

They reduce blood pressure and

improve heart health.

Ingredients

½ cup organic dark brown sugar

½ cup organic brown rice syrup

2 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted

2 large, free-range eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

¼ tsp. sea salt

1 ½ cups raw pecans

Unbaked gluten-free pie crust

Directions

1. Pre-heat oven to 350°.

2. Line a pie dish with a pie crust or use the already formed

crust without a pan.

3. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until well combined.

4. Pour batter into the crust and bake for 45 minutes.

5. Cool before serving
