All week long we're comparing and taste testing to see if your taste buds can tell the difference between the most and least expensive brands.

We're crunching the numbers on granola bars.

Are all granola bars created equal? Is cost a factor or should it be? The less known brand's cost is $1.49 while for the same size of Quaker Oats' variety pack there's a $3 difference at $4.49.

We bought the knock off, less known brand as well as the Quaker Oats variety pack and hit the streets to let the taste buds decide.

After taste testing multiple folks on the street, the result was surprising and could save you some money.

Everyone who tried the lesser known brand like them better than Quaker Oats.
