Aaron Ostrozynski of Alpharetta was 24-years-old when he died on March 3, 2015. Shortly before his death, Ostrozynski was interviewed about his heroin use. Ostrozynski said he been using heroin for 9 years and went through more then 10 treatments. He believed overdose prevention drug Narcan saved his life him several times.
“Run as far as you can, and hide. Don’t ever pick it up. If you think you’re having the urge for something like that, just don’t touch it,” Ostrozynski told the reporter. “It takes everything from you. It takes your soul.”
His autopsy lists heroin, fentanyl and cocaine as the drugs that caused his overdose.
