CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A serious car accident impacted Tuesday’s afternoon commute.
Three people were hurt after a wreck in north Charlotte around 2:30 p.m. The incident happened in the 11500 block of Eastfield Road near Browne Road.
One of the three victims has life-threatening injuries, while a second victim has potentially life-threatening injuries, according to officials. Both were transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
The third victim was transported by Med Center Air.
Charlotte Fire Department firefighters needed to rescue at least one of the victims who was trapped in a car.
Eastfield Road between Alexanderana Road and Browne Road was reopened at 7 p.m.
