CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A construction worker was injured Tuesday afternoon when a boulder trapped him in a Bobcat bulldozer.
It happened on the 7100 hundred block of Robinson Church Road in east Charlotte.
About two dozen Charlotte Fire Department firefighters were on scene after taking the man away from under the bulldozer at about 2:35 p.m. It took 36 minutes to free the worker away from the equipment.
Crews took the man to CMC University hospital after it appeared he suffered lower body injuries.
