CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A motorcyclist died Thursday after colliding with an SUV and being thrown 30 feet from the motorcycle.
That woman has been identified as Dolores Liddick.
Police say the SUV turned left in front of the motorcycle at York Center Drive and South Tryon Street just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
The motorcyclist was transported to Carolinas Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
The SUV driver was also injured. Police have not said if charges will be filed.
