CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than a half-dozen people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash in the Ballantyne area Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. on the northbound lane of Johnston Road before Interstate 485.
It's unclear how the wreck started, but emergency officials say seven people were hurt and the crash involved at least three cars.
None of the injuries are considered life-threatening and all patients will be taken to CMC-Pineville.
