Every morning on NewsChannel 36 Today I will show you the “Jam Factor” on roads and in around the Carolinas.

It’s a numerical and color-coded way to let you know how smooth your ride will be on the way to work in the morning.  Anything less than four and you can consider it an easy ride.  Starting at five, things start to get a little slower.  Ten is a number you don’t want to see.  That means a particular roadway is totally jammed.

You can get the latest traffic here on WCNC.com, every morning on NewsChannel 36 and follow me on Twitter -- @wcnctraffic.
