CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a shootout at a south Charlotte hotel.
Hotel workers at La Casa Inn on Nations Ford Road said an armed man barged into the lobby and shot another man just after 5 p.m. Monday. Although wounded, workers said the victim shot back, hitting the suspect in the arm.
No one else was injured. Family members told NewsChannel 36 the two men knew each other well and had an ongoing dispute. Police said they will likely only charge the man who shot first.
