COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Columbia police are looking for a man in charge of hospitality in South Carolina after he went missing last weekend.
Tom Sponseller is the president of the South Carolina Hospitality Association. Police said he was last seen Saturday around noon in his Columbia office.
Police found his car, but said they did not notice anything unusual about it.
According to the SC Hospitality Association, Sponseller grew up in Greenville, is a graduate of The Citadel and is married with three adult children.
He spent 18 years with Canteen Corporation and joined the South Carolina Restaurant Association in 1990, helping facilitate a merger with the South Carolina Hotel & Motel Association in 1992.
