STALLINGS, N.C. -- Stallings Chief of Police Michael Dummett has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into a complaint filed against him, according to Stallings officials.
Stallings Town Manager Brian W. Matthews said Dummett was placed on administrative leave on Monday after a complaint was filed against him.
Matthews would not disclose any specifics of the complaint or the reason for the investigation.
No other agencies are involved in the investigation, according to Matthews.
Matthews said Stallings Police Captain Mike Eudy is in charge of the police department until the investigation is complete.
