CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two men suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident on Pineville-Matthews and Johnston roads Tuesday night.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said a truck ran a red light and struck a car at the intersection sending both vehicles into a power pole.
The man driving the pick-up truck was later charged with DWI, according to police.
Both men were transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
