CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Coco Chanel, the pug who was stolen out of a south Charlotte apartment on Saturday, has been reunited with her owner.

Ally Montier was at work Saturday afternoon when someone broke into her apartment, stole her two pugs and nearly $3,000 worth of electronics.

Valentino was found and returned to a local PetSmart where he was reunited with Montier but Coco Chanel was missing for more than 48 hours.

"She is my daughter," Montier told NBC Charlotte.

After going to the police, Montier took to Facebook to ask for help and the thoughts and prayers flooded in. Her original post was shared by over 1,200 other Facebook users.

On Tuesday morning, Montier and Valentino were reunited with Coco Chanel.

Ally sent NBC Charlotte the following note:

Just got home. Basically, the sweet ladies found her (on the loose) in a neighborhood near Carowinds and decided to bring her to their home in Monroe (about 45 minutes away). This morning they saw the NBC Charlotte Facebook post about Coco and decided to contact me.

Police say the pug poachers are still on the run and no arrests have been made.
