Tekelec plans North Carolina move

MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- Telecommunications gear maker Tekelec plans to move
its headquarters from California to Morrisville in Wake County.
A company spokeswoman says the move will allow the company to operate
more efficiently by consolidating its finance, accounting and
information technology divisions under the same roof.
