CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Comedy Central's Jon Stewart arrived in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention this week

NewsChannel 36's Michelle Boudin was able to catch up with the 'Daily Show' host to talk about the DNC and activities surrounding the convention.

"We're feeling great," Stewart said during a barbecue in Myers Park. "There is coffee to drink and things on biscuits, so we're doing great," he joked.

Boudin mentioned the campaign of 'Stalking Stewart' started by a private business owner who hopes to earn Stewart's attention.

"I have a team of people who are designed to stop that," Stewart said laughing. "I imagine I'll be hearing about it [this week]"

Stewart joked about just arriving in the city and has not yet been able to see what the Queen City has to offer.

"Well, so far we have seen a stadium that says Bank of America in giant letters that they're calling Panthers stadium, so we're trying to figure out how they're going to pull that off " he said. "Just getting around the idea corporation may have a role in this."
