FORT MILL, S.C. -- The South Carolina Highway Patrol has reopened all lanes of Interstate 77 near Sutton Road after a deadly accident Wednesday morning.
The Highway Patrol said three cars were involved in the accident. One person was killed and a second was injured. Two of the cars ran into the overpass barrier at the Sutton Road exit, according to state troopers.
The accident killed 78-year-old Rock Hill resident Louis Nathaniel Agurs.
The second victim was airlifted to a local hospital, and that person's injuries are unknown at this time.
