CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two stores were damaged during a fire at an southeast Charlotte shopping center on Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported around 5 a.m. at the Sardis Crossing Shopping Center on Sardis Road.

The store that suffered the most damage was Nemo's Reef, an aquarium and tropical fish store. Another store suffered smoke damage from the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The Charlotte Fire Department's haz-mat team was called to the scene to deal with chemicals in the aquarium store.
