ST. LOUIS, MO -- Emergency vehicles surrounded a plane on the tarmac at Lambert International Airport Tuesday night after two flight attendants and a passenger were injured.
According to officials, US Airways flight 1667 was flying from Charlotte to St. Louis when, about 70 miles north of Nashville, the plane experienced significant turbulence.
While all of the passengers were seated at the time, the flight attendants were not. According to Lambert spokesperson Jeff Lea, two flight attendants were injured and treated at the airport while one passenger was taken to a hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.
According to US Airways, the plane -- an Airbus 319 -- will get a routine check to determine if there was any damage.
