CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It will be cloudy and still cool today with highs in the mid 50s and areas of drizzle, but the mild temperatures return this weekend.
“Later on this afternoon if you’re out and about, anywhere from 3:00 to about 7:00, you’ll see a few pockets of precipitation,” said Larry Sprinkle of the First Warn Storm Team.
There will be clearing skies in the morning Saturday with a high temperature of 67 degrees. It will become mostly cloudy by Sunday afternoon.
“If you’re headed to the Panthers game on Sunday, there’s only about a 30 percent chance of a shower,” Sprinkle said.
Temperatures will be mild again on Sunday with a high near 67 degrees.
A better chance of rain comes Monday with the possibility of even a thunderstorm. Highs Monday will be in the mid 60s.
Cooler temperatures return Tuesday through the end of next week with highs in the low to mid 50s.
