DENVER, N.C. -- Deputies busted the nineteenth meth lab in Lincoln County Thursday, making this year's meth lab count among the highest in recent history.
Investigators say they walked into the mobile home in the 6400 block of Todd Lane just before 6 p.m. to find a woman dumping meth ingredients down the drain.
The woman had to be decontaminated because of her exposure to the mixture.
The sheriff’s office is working to secure warrants for three suspects. Police will also stand guard over the one-pot meth lab overnight until state clean-up crews arrive Friday.
Deputies say the number of meth labs this year far surpasses recent numbers.
