CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Local church-goers are in shock after someone made off with more than a $2,000 worth of gift cards.

The cards were swiped from the Steele Creek Church of Charlotte on Arrowood Road.  Church leaders say it happened sometime over the past two weeks.

Authorities said whoever stole the cards had access to a file cabinet in the church office where those cards were stored.

No arrests have been made.
