MINT HILL, N.C. -- A Mint Hill man faces felony charges for allegedly promising UNC-Duke basketball tickets, autographed NBA jerseys, tickets to the Master’s golf tournament and New Kid on the Block concert tickets to his coworkers for advance payment of nearly $3,500.
Jason Eric Richardson, 29, was in jail Tuesday on six felony counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.
Police said the incidents occurred between Jan. 1 and the beginning of March.
Richardson, a former employee of the Walgreen’s on Highway 73 in Denver, turned himself on the charges on Monday.
He was being held Tuesday on $30,000 bond.
