YORK, S.C. -- A teen club in York is accused of serving alcohol to minors.
The Sound Lounge on South Congress Street is a teen club for 13 to 17 year olds.
Two 22-year-old men told police they were invited to a birthday party by a woman. When they arrived at the lounge area they were assaulted and forced away by roughly 10 men, including the club's owner, according to the report.
The two men went to police after suffering minor injuries in the fight.
“Upon investigating,” the report said, “it was determined that alcohol had been inside the club during the party and made available to minors. Photographs of alcohol were taken and witness statements obtained.”
The club's owner, 25-year-old Joseph Edward Ragni is facing multiple charges.
Ragni is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, transfer of beer or wine for underage person’s consumption and unlawful storage of alcohol.
