LAKE WYLIE, S.C. -- A Lake Wylie mother is accused of buying pot for herself and her daughter.
Deputies from the York County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Jennifer Romero bought pot with her 14-year-old daughter and her son’s girlfriend at the tennis courts near Elizabeth Valley Lane.
Authorities found out about the drug deal after the girl's father called police claiming Romero bought the pot and allowed their daughter to smoke it, according to the police report.
The report also said that Romero and her daughter drove to McDowell Park in Charlotte to smoke the pot.
The girl told police that she was facing peer pressure at school about smoking pot and told her mother about it.
Romero was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
