6NEWS

A look inside the new Imaginon library.

The 6NEWS Road Trip will be at ImaginOn December 1. Take a tour of Charlotte’s newest venue for children and see the newest and coolest activities for kids.

The Imaginon Center, located on East 7th street in Uptown, is the new home to the Children’s Library and the Children’s Theater of Charlotte.

The center takes up an entire block in Uptown and the building features a sloping roof, a curving interior ramp and lots of glass to provide views in and out of the building.

According to supporters, it’s not just the dramatic design that makes the center special, but what it offers children and families who will visit.
