3 injured in collision on Old Concord Road

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three people were taken to a local hospital after a collision on Old Concord Road Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a tractor-trailer slammed into a car at Suther Road, and the car burst into flames.
Two of the victims had life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
Police say the tractor-trailer driver fled the scene, but was later arrested on Interstate 85.
