CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced their “Teacher of the Year” at Carowinds Sunday night.
Civics and economics teacher Eric Tornfelt was given the honor at the Carowinds theater. Tornfelt beat out four other teachers to win the title.
Tornfelt has taught at Mallard Creek High School since 2007.
