CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There were some tense moments for one man after the ceiling of his home suddenly collapsed on him.
The incident happened on Washburn Avenue Sunday night. According to witnesses at the scene, the ceiling somehow collapsed right on top the man. He was not seriously injured.
The Charlotte Fire Department responded and removed portions of the ceiling. The man reportedly will stay with friends while the home undergoes repairs.
There is no word on what caused the incident.
