CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Fire department tells NewsChannel 36 a fire at the Mad Greek Cafe on South Boulevard began in the kitchen from a deep fryer around 10 a.m.
The blaze caused an estimated $15,000 dollars in damage. No one was hurt.
NewsChannel 36 has learned it would be at least a few days before that restaurant is back open for business.
